Dear Dr. Wu:
I began acupuncture treatment for arthritis in my hands and knees six weeks ago at the encouragement of my niece, Melissa Nagare, who is an observational intern at the clinic. Under the direction of Dr. Chuang and Dr. Yu, I have had the good fortune of seeing the same intern, Juanita Brown, each week. The treatment results have exceeded my expectations and I have grown to respect and trust Juanita to "take care of me".
After the first treatment, I was able to make a fist with my right hand-something I haven't been able to do for months. On my second visit, Juanita remembered me and made me feel very much at home and comfortable. She has a pleasant, professional manner, answers questions, explains what she will be doing and certainly has lowered my anxiety level. Most importantly, she really seems to care about patients.
A few weeks ago, I was rear-ended in an automobile accident. Although I was not "hurt", Dr. Chuang recommended a special treatment for "trauma". Juanita also did this procedure and I felt great! In the process, she discovered tight spots in my neck and shoulders which she has successfully worked to improve.
I would like you to know that Juanita has done an outstanding job treating me and I appreciate an intern of her caliber. From my experience and from what I observe each week, I am very impressed with the "team" of doctors and interns at the clinic. It is definitely worthwhile to drive from Irvine to Whittier for such positive results. I am proud that my niece is a student at your school.
